New service dog "Whetu", or
as we in the Valley of the Sun call
her, "Tui" graduated on
November 15th as a full service dog
with her new partner, Jason
Gronwall. Tui was raised by
Sharon Higgins and is the second
graduate she has raised. Tui
and Jason live in Sedona and
travel frequently to the Valley.
A great big, WELCOME ABOARD to Jason
and Tui to the Valley of the Sun
Chapter!
Zander
The Rosen-Ducat Family also met with new
graduate, Glen Mcintyre and the puppy
they raised, Zander. Zander
was placed with Glen a few weeks ago as
a full service successor dog.
Zander will be working with Glen as his
sidekick in his motivational speaking
career. Good job Zander! Zander is
the Rosen-Ducat family's first CCI
puppy.
Ona
Ona, raised by Pat Severance, was
presented at the Northwest Region
graduation as the newest member of CCI's
breeding colony. Only the top 1%
of CCI puppies are chosen to be a part
of the breeding program. Puppies
have to be in perfect health, exhibit
intelligence and have a great
temperament. Way to go Ona and a
great job by Pat! We can't wait to
see little Ona puppies in the Valley of
the Sun!

Barnes & Noble Gift Wrapping Season is
Here!
If you haven't signed up for a gift
wrapping session yet, call or email
chapter VP Liz Rosen-Ducat for
information. Each year we
volunteer at several B&N locations to
gift wrap. We will gather at
Chandler Fashion Mall, Kierland Commons
and Arrowhead mall for gift wrapping
this year. This is a great way to
get your puppy some public exposure, or
if you are not a puppy raiser, a great
way to get involved in spreading the CCI
word and raising a few dollars.
Call or
email Liz today!
